Sarah Belle Reid joins Nonsequitur for an evening of adventurous and experimental music at the Chapel Performance Space at the Good Shepherd Center.
Presented by Nonsequitur and a community of like-minded artists and organizations, the series brings together some of the most boundary-pushing voices in contemporary music, spanning contemporary and post-classical composition, free improvisation, experimental jazz, electronic and electroacoustic music, sound art, phonography, new instruments, and other innovative practices. The concerts take place in the beautiful Chapel Performance Space at the Good Shepherd Center, located on the traditional homelands of the Duwamish people.
Sarah Belle Reid’s work explores experimental electroacoustic performance, improvisation, and human-machine interaction. Performing with trumpet, voice, modular synthesizer, and custom electronic instruments of her own design, she creates interactive performance systems in which performers, technologies, environments, and listeners continuously shape one another.
